Introduction to teachers:
Anna-Karin Roo is from Seattle, WA USA. She has earned a BS. Biology (Western Washington University), MA TESOL (University of Washington) and a PhD in Language, Literacy & Technology (Washington State University). Her research interests include gaining better understanding of the needs and ways to support non-native English speakers’ writing for the sciences. She has taught English for academic & specific purposes in Qingdao, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Here’s her feeling about Xing Wei
I like teaching at Xing Wei College. It gives me a chance to impact the next generation of Chinese students. There are multiple activities in which to participate to get to know the students better. The small class sizes also help make it possible to get to know students on an individual basis.
