Application
Admission to Xing Wei College is quite selective. Please be thoughtful and thorough regarding the information you provide in your application.
On-line Application
If you plan to submit an online application, you should complete and submit your online materials as soon as possible. To ensure full and timely consideration of your application you should submit all other supporting documents and materials at the earliest possible time.

School Report and High school transcript
Admission to Xing Wei College is highly selective. Although we weigh a number of factors in the admission decision, the most important is academic ability, as demonstrated by performance in high school.
To be considered for admission to Xing Wei College, you must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with a minimum B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. Please submit official transcripts for all secondary or high schools that you have attended. If you have attended a college or university, you must send transcripts for all courses you have completed. Official copies are issued directly by your school, college, or university in a sealed envelope. If transcripts and certificates are not in English, provide a certified translation of the documents. Upon graduation from high school, you will be required to submit a final transcript confirming graduation and showing all academic course work
Teacher Evaluation
Ask a teacher or your school counselor to complete a letter of recommendation.
English Language Proficiency
All students must verify English proficiency at the time of application to Xing Wei College. The required minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is 80 on the Internet-based Test (iBT). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores of 6.5 or higher can be accepted in lieu of the TOEFL.
Students who have not taken TOEFL or IELTS may take the Xingwei College English Entrance Exam.
On-Campus or Skype Interview
After you have submitted all application materials, you may be invited to schedule a campus visit and interview. In case you are unable to visit Xing Wei in person, a Skype interview may be arranged.
When to apply
XWC is on a block-divided semester system, with regular sessions in the fall and spring. While applications are accepted throughout the year, you should plan to apply three to six months ahead of your anticipated start date.
